We know that Spike is playing the forthcoming gigs, and also that Jamie has said that he isn't (or at least wasn't doing Sonisphere so I assume this goes for the replacement dates too).
Is there any more news on whether it is def just Brian on guitar, and also who is playing bass? (my money is on the chap who did the Anthems tour) but I don't think anything's been confirmed yet?

It'll probably be some lame band like Amsterdam 2002.

I'm interested in this too, Jamie is currently working with Tom Jones for live stuff, and I assume he did the recent recorded work too.

My guess is:
Adam on vocals
Brian on guitar
Roger on drums
Neil Fairclough on bass
Spike on keyboards
+some backing tracks on some songs.
In other words, it'll be the same line-up that played Belfast EMA show.

i guess there will be a second guitarist. shame, as i like it when brian carries it all. sounds more exciting.

No Richard...Jamie said on Facebook that he was not playing with Q+AL because they wanted to trim down the line-up (maybe Brian feels confident enough to handle all the guitar duties on his own?)

I hope Brian's the only guitarist, I'd prefer a smaller band overall actually. When it gets to the point of having a dozen backup members (like Brian's 90's touring band for instance), it starts to feel more like a big production than a band.

would be fantastic if it is just Brian on guitar.

I love brian, I love Roger,... If anything embarrassing should come of this venture chalk it up to senility.
