What would really impress me would be Princes of the Universe.
And the female vocalist/harmonists are still lacklustre and screwy in places. Listening to her now - aaaaagh. STAY ON TARGET! STAY ON TARGET!
Not hating, it's just that if it's an Extravaganza, then certain screws need tightening. These singers are not even remotely delivering close to the standard that Martel was showing. She's constantly flat.

It's the first gig bro! I have real high expectations for this group. There is still room/time for improvement.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind so much on a song like that where they played it well, but on Bohemian Rhapsody the guy was so busy posing that he kept flubbing notes and his pacing. It's -the- solo of the night. I don't care what you do, get *that* one right. But no, he was busy consulting his hairdresser with head gestures or something.

As soon as I saw that guitar throwing I loss being 'impressed'; apparently the music directors think the music itself is so dull it needs an added attraction.
Keep in mind this isn't the phenomenal showmanship you'd expect from a circus or Michael Jackson/Jackie Wilson...

Too bad he didn't knock the wind out of the guy. That's cheesy beyond Mayor McCheese falling into a vat of ...cheese.
Music was great though...straight from the record renditions of sorts... Just awkward bg vox.
If I have the $$$ I'll go to Club Nokia and catch it

It's stupid, but if you can do the music properly and do those things at the same time then it's not so bad.
Like I said, the guy was so busy doing bedroom-mirror poses during the solo for Bo Rhap that he actually made mistakes in the playing. That's the only place I really draw a line. Go ahead and get up to theatrics, but the music cannot suffer for it or there's no point.

See, I think Brian doing a backflip would be great. He spends the whole show being so reserved and letting Freddie be the charismatic one, then when he's playing the solo for WWRY he rips an intense somersault and the crowd goes wild!
Hmm, awkward background vocals could completely ruin some of the songs though. Bohemian Rhapsody in particular, since they're doing the operatic section..
