Why does it seem like everybody's covering this song? What's wrong with their other songs?

My opinion: Eh. Not bad, could be better.

I wonder that sometimes too, particularly since there's a lot of easier ones to sing.

I don't know why I chose to post this song, I guess just because I like it, and if everybody covers it than it must be a well-liked song. Anyway I just wanted to know your opinion. Waunakonor what do you think could be better?
