The sound is incredible, and thankfully Tarantura kept the compression to a minimum. It breathes and still sounds analog.

Would it be necessary? Is anything missing on the Tarantura source?
If there was, I still wouldn't want to do that because the youtube source is lossy.

Totally agree.
I have now listened from the beginning up to Doin' allright and all I can say is: WOW!
The sound is incredible. I can imagine this is how Queen sounded in that hall that evening...and to me those kind of audience recordings are what this hobby is about! You get all the details from the performance, you get the atmosphere from the audience. I love it how you can hear that bass go through the entire hall...:-)
As for the performance: MINDBLOWING! This trip to Japan has given the band lots of confidence and this shows. The show is packed with incredible musical moments. Also, gotta love it how Roger shouts at the beginning when Freddie comments on the audience being a great one...
