It was funny at first, the pyramidial thing, excessively prodding and stretching anything to suggest a point (like the ppl who keep saying BoRhap was about Freddie's struggle with AIDS...a full 10 years at least before diasgnosis)
Then ya had to start posting photos: regular screenshots of the band video...taking the piss out of a decent joke.
Oh well..it was fun while it lasted.
Obviously the song has been explained as two songs merged together. The opening piano piece ties in a little bit, so the song becomes about a break up; then being "smitten" by someone, just wanting to break the ice.
The song carried a lot of positivity with it for me growing up, so I'll be the old maid prude, who calls it for being past the point of funny.
To Hijack the post: does anybody glean a different meaning from it?

Thats what I get from it. It opens with a painful break up then goes to attraction for someone new for which there is fear. Breakthru would be to let go of the past relationship and fear and go for it.
