Which of these two songs, in your opinion, are the best on Queens first album? Any other choices are accepted.
My choice - Son And Daughter, because of the intro, and the power in the song alone, sure, Liar is 6 minutes long and is nearly considered by every critic to be the best song on the album, but why not show appreciation for more than just Liar?

Well, if Mad The Swine counts, it'd be that. But Liar, Great King Rat and Jesus are amazing.

Tough one. I pretty much like the entire album from start to finish, including "Mad The Swine."

If I had to pick, maybe "Keep Yourself Alive." Punchy, fun, optimistic and it deserved to be a hit.

Slightly off topic, but I'd love to hear this album (and all the albums, really) in 5.1 Surround.

Hands down, the best song on the album is My Fairy King. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it.

It is the beginning of Mercury's progression to creating Bohemian Rhapsody.

Son and Daughter is my favorite track from the first album. Amazing vocals, guitars, etc. The BBC version is also great.
