Everytime when I bring out a new release of this Excel-database, I will add these new (found) shares to the database and order them. You can imagine when I add for example 5 concerts to a database with more than 1000 lines that they can't be found in the big database. There fore I have made an tab in the excel file with the changes of every release.People who don't follow queenzone daily will not miss a single share :)
That´s very clever. Thank´s for the clarification.

Excuse my English, but I am Italian and I do not know the language well enough .. How come there are so many versions of the same concert? There are some better than others or is simply a factor of personal taste?

Sometimes it is a matter of taste, sometimes there are more recordings of the same concert, sometimes there are different generations, merges or even different topics here on Queenzone. I hope that this excel-link will bring a little structure in the chaotic topics which are sometimes 5 year or longer ago created.
In the future I want to bring some extra columns with some information about what can be expected in the original queenzone topic (is it a torrent file, or is it shared as 1-click hosting file or even both). Some concerts are still not available as torrent-file. This will be a project for later this year or even in the beginning of next year.
Maybe it can be extended with some information about the quality and lineage or something.

Many thanks, was just to know which file to choose between different versions .. It is not always easy to make a choice, all files would take away a huge space ...

Sometimes it can be personal taste, but usually not. There are a lot of factors.
Many concerts were recorded by more than one person in the audience. The sources will sound different because one taper was closer to the stage, or maybe they had better recording gear. Maybe both.
Sometimes people will create a version using the two sources, as the better-sounding source may be missing a few songs. And each source may have cuts in different places. These shows were taped on cassettes, and they had to be flipped every 30 or 45 minutes. So if there are two audience sources and one merge of the two sources, there's three different versions right there.
Furthermore - when shows were traded through the mail in the 80s and 90s (this was pretty much the only way to do it back then), another cassette copy had to be made, which is quality loss. That's why it's important to find copies where we know how many cassette generations a recording has been through - the fewer the better. When a lower generation copy is found, an older one becomes obsolete.
If it's a digital copy of the master tape, it's the best possible quality. Even a single tape generation can make the quality considerably worse if it isn't transferred properly and with good gear. So the search for the best possible copy of each concert continues.
What Bokkepoot has done is create a single place to find download links to every relevant version of Queen concerts currently available. It strings together decades of tape trading and digital circulation to best complete the picture that is Queen live. Having a resource like this was inconceivable even a decade ago.

Version 5 of this project will be a Santa Claus present (or maybe it is earlier finished). I'm working on some extra columns with information regarding: A) is the original share based on (or contains the replies) 1-click links B) is the original share based on torrents (or are there torrents in the replies) C) If there is a torrent, is it still available for download (just to check my own client with almost 800 Queenzone torrents in it ;) ) D) some extra information about the torrent (just in case when there is more than one torrentfile in the thread) E) Lineage information from each share (for video I will add also some technical details) F) the track-list of the share.
It takes really lots of time to re-check all the queenzone-posts and all the replies for information. (lots of time.....read hundreds of hours). (I have worked now approx 50 or 60 hours on it and I have finished 1977 today)
In the end we will have a perfect overview of all information we need.
If there are some suggestions, please talk about it.
I mentioned before also that we can hang some "quality-lables" or "which of the different shares is the best" I really need some help for that. People like The Real Wizard, Pittrek, Marknow, Inu-Liger, AleSolan, and many more are good in this kind of stuff.
Maybe there can be made also some extra column with direct links to the really beautiful artwork from Alex Solan ?
Just some thoughts to make the Santa Claus Present more valuable !!
Oh...and eh did I already told that Alex does make really beautiful artwork ???

Thanks for this share. You've done an incredible good job. Many great live recordings, but is there any chance to put the full TV broadcast of "The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert" on this list?
