Does anybody know something more about this photo? Where was it taken? What the tape contains (OK i can identify the titles but not sure which version of the song is it) and who took this photo.
The style, the paper it was printed on, the transfer, all appear to be from the early 90s.
It was taken by someone who did not know too much more about photography than pushing a button... so that rules out Brian May.

A bit hard to make out what the track listing say, but from what I can make out:-
Don't Try So Hard
Innuendo
Slightly Mad
Affairs
Gods People
Grande Dame
Looking at what I think 3 of the tracks say, It could be the "David Richards" tape that he aired a while back, where he played 3 of the Demos at a convention, Posted on line by QueenItalia. (Don't Try So Hard, Affairs & Grand Dame) I think the other Demo he played was "Barcelona"
can anybody make out what it says, if you think it says otherwise?

After a quick look, it appears the first might read: "Don't Try So Much." Working title, maybe?
I'll take a better, longer look later. Certainly interesting. I wish the image was clearer!

It's most likely the cassette tape from David Richards' own collection that he re-discovered a year or two ago.

Makes me wonder just how MUCH still needs to be 'rediscovered' :)

Wow. Always something "new" on this site. Love it, even if its old.
2nd at bottom left clearly shows "Freddie Mercury"
Unclear...I think it says "Hard Life 83'" or more likely "Life Real"
But that's purely speculation since its so obscure
Followed by UNFINISHED VERSION
Which would make some sense. I'm pretty sure those are NUMBERS following two words...so my guess is its not "Barcelona"
