this comment includes some random thoughts written during the concert...

what a great opening!!!

playing stuff that wasn't heard live for ages blows my head being a fan for decades.

but after a few songs... same old, same old. hmpf.

nice to hear 'who wants to live forever'...

also nice to see brian is taking the guitar work on his own! great work!!! carry on playing, doc... please dig all the badger stuff...

what a heavy and grand drum sound it must have been live... with two kits... having heard roger in 2005, THIS must have been the ultimate treatment for guts and bones...
the incorporation of the drum-solo into 'dragon attack' could have been smoother by far.

after all i think adam's color of voice suits better into the queen sound than paul's ever did. it's nice to see he spots some places to prove himself as a singer-personality.
don't get me wrong - paul is a great singer, but this lambert-guy hits the hights where they need to be hit. also he avoids paul's trademark to chew the slibants eternally...

...but... am i the only one who cannot stand 'radio gaga' anymore ? 'i want to break free'... umpf... wasn't even spectacular in the 80s... what about 'hard live' instead ???!!!!

do they really need to play all the songs of the last tours ?
nice to hear 'don't stop me now' and 'somebody to love', though.

'the dust' works quite well... but adam's ad-libs definitely need some improvement..! there seems no real contact to the audience.

but .... noooo... not borhap!

nice idea to implement freddie into 'love of my live'. but brian's performance was quite weak this time.

overall the songs got nice treatments.
compliments to spike nailing them to the spot.

what i would have wished for was a rendition of 'tenement funster' (c'mon... there IS a second drummer!!!) or 'long away'... for god's sake!! please deliver sth. that no one expects!!!

not having recruited sir elton for 'the show must go on' is a missed opportunity. blame them!

cannot understand that as they got some 'victor whoever' as a guest singer io to sing WWRY. whoever THAT may be.

btw. do i have to know this bass-guy ?

the guitar solo... hum... yeah. quite familiar... would have wished to hear it between some 'father to son' and 'brighton rock'. wishful thinking.

let's hope there will be a decent quality recording of the hammersmith gigs. the current lineup seems to be promising in terms of thight sound that, imho., reproduces the queen legacy quite well. adam doesn't seem to be the worst choice. don't matter what his background as a casting-'star' is.

despite of all the bad words i've written it was pretty good entertainment!
let's hope the setlist changes a bit for the following gigs!
