This guy has the full show uploaded in pretty average quality if anyone's interested.
Oh it shoud have included something from "The Cosmos Rocks" if not a number of tracks! That's one of Queen's best studio l.p.s!
I'm pretty glad with the way this turned out overall. We got fantastic versions of Magic and Days Of Our Lives from Roger, and Lambert wasn't as catastrophic as I was expecting.
Indeed you did Bruno! I only just noticed, so you must've posted it just ahead of me :P

If I am not Mistaken, During "Dragon Attack" Bass Solo, Didn't Neil play the riff from "Fight From The Inside"?
He played Son and Daughter.

Well, some amazing performances (AOBTD, STL), many average performances, some horrible performances. Not bad at all for a first gig. Some nice surprises setlist-wise, but not enough to really excite me - actually a mostly expectable setlist. Adam's great singer for sure, the vibrato sucks though. He's not gonna be a favourite, but honestly: Never in his wildest dreams could Freddie perform some songs the way Lambert just did. I'm not saying he was performing better, certainly not, but strictly technically speaking he's just amazing.
I'm not a fan of Adam at all, but I agree with you...He has way more range and technically is much better than freddie, and it's not even close, but being a great singer isn't all about range and technique. Adam can be embarrassing at times. Singing notes that don't belong...As you mentioned the vibrato, the most important thing that makes a great singer sucks....I think he'll be remembered for being a talented singer, but not a unique voice like Mercury and Plant. He does have a strong voice, but he still comes off as a joke.
Just saying: Roger's AKOM was his best live vocal ever in a Queen song. He did amazingly good.
Yeah, Roger's lead vocals were definitely the highlight for me. Shame Brian wasn't in as good form, but he made up for it by kicking ass on the guitar so it's forgivable.
Bizarrely, a highlight for me was WWTLF - never a favorite song, but christ on a bike, it was very very strong vocally, something Queen never did in '86.
I'd drop the bad 80s touches (rubbery bass, AWFUL piano sound etc) and we've got a gig on our hands.
Yeah, the piano intro of Seven Seas made me cringe.. The synth didn't do any favours to 39 or Love Of My Life either.
I'm impressed, this thread grew by about 20 pages in less than 24 hours..
