So when do we get the fixed version then? And torrents can't be "taken down", they just die when people stop seeding them.

For that matter, why downsample it at all? I can play a 24/96 version just as easily as 16/44.1 on my Squeezebox. I suspect a lot of other people convert them to MP3 or similar to play on iPods. How many actually burn a CD and need it in 16/44.1? Not many I suspect.
