Welcome newby.... unfortunately stuff like this is what people talk about on a Queen fan site in 2012. Fucking horrific state of affairs....
Yes, the world is in a horrific state of affairs. A little humor goes a long way towards making me feel better.
BTW, is lastpicstanding your site?

And if it wasn't horrific enough, then comes AL and Glamberts and Brian being enthralled about it all. Wonder what Roger thinks? Anything out there with regard to such? Maybe that's for another less horrific thread. heh

Just got back from seeing the Darkness at Thetford Forest. I have been a fan of theirs since 2002 when I first saw them support Def Leppard. Instead of Lambert Justin Hawkins would be a great frontman for Queen. He definitely has a lot of Freddie influence but also a lot of David Lee Roth/Steve Tyler about him too. Great frontman and singer and pretty decent with the geetar.
Yes, I love the Darkness myself, I have seen them on all their tours, most recently on their comeback tour. Even though Justin is one of the best front men of all time, I'm not sure if he would be the correct front man for Queen, I mean, Justin is a great guitarist in his own right, so would it be good for Justin to upstage Brian, when Justin does his thing??? Playing Upside down on a white Tiger, in a boob chariot or even just on the shoulders of a guy??? I don't know.
One question though, why go to a Darkness gig, when Queen were playing on the same day??? (14th July) lol!!!!
Joyful the sound

I can see no possible reason for Justin Hawkins to join up with Brian and Roger. He has his own band who have a new album coming out.

because I despise Alan Lambert and what Roger and Brian are doing working with him.

I understand exactly where you're coming from. It's pretty hopeless though, in my not-worth-much opinion. If Brian and Roger chose AL, then what does that tell you? Rogers QE happened because there was talent to support it, and I think even he was suprized at the outcome.
