The night before Hammy night 3, I took a trek out to the middle of the millennium foot bridge and I thought of you and wanted you to know that. Whatever your thoughts are about the collaboration I still thought of you on that night.
It was around 11pm, drizzling rain. In the distance I could see the London bridge already prepared with the Olympic rings suspended from the towers. I looked below me to the dark waters of the Thames. A boat passed beneath. Then another.
I thought, what is Brian doing this night before the final concert? What are his thoughts? And Adam? Is he out and about?
My thoughts too are of QZ and the endless friction of the day that churns on this site over everything that is Queen. Is anyone here a friend? Then where is everyone? (I know! Off getting a pint!)
I am alone on the Millennium bridge and it is Friday the 13th, the night before the concert.
You are also there ... In my thoughts.
