This was the guy who made the homophobe spamtopic? Wow. And Freddie was not gay. He was a bisexual. He preferred men, but he had repeatedly said the one true love of his life was Mary.

Bisexual is what gay people were in the 80s. I think he loved Mary but as a friend/sister rather than lover. I think the whole 'he isn't gay he was bisexual' thing is (usually) spouted by those who had an issue with him being outright gay. Many gay men have relationships with women at first. Doesn't make them bisexual just confused/hopeful they'd become straight.

You can truly love someone without it being sexual you know. I love my family, my kids, my friends massively, but that doesn't make me gay if they're male, straight if they're female etc
