Can you go to the original folder you received with the original files, and right click select properties, and tell me the size of the folder? Please. Also how many files are in the folder?

It says 5 files (I guess the folder counts as 1 because there are only 4 mts files).  7.11GB.

Ok, that is the folder you need to upload.

What program do you use to upload and download torrents?
Arse.

Look guys, this is my first time ever making a torrent. I got help from someone who is knowledgeable but she didn't have the files or my computer specs, so if there's anything not right about the torrent, please let me know. I'll be happy to make a new one with new directives.

Don't worry. We'll sort you out.
You've done well to make the torrent and everyone here at QZ appreciates your efforts to share the concert with us :)

Oh, now I see where the .ts came from. It happened when I joined the 4mts files into one big file using http://t.co/hQT7EDb

There you are!

No need to join the files, send them as you got them.

Do you use utorrent for torrent files?
Arse.

I use uStream to download torrents and now for this first torrent EVAHHH!!!! YIKES!

Did you see my previous post?  I now see that the .ts file got created when I joined the file with this program:  http://t.co/hQT7EDb

When I created the torrent before, I used the joined file I created with that program.

Should I do a new torrent WITHOUT joining the files and just use that folder we discussed?

And also, I see that Trader's automatically makes the torrent 'private' which is probably why we're having such a hard time with it, right?

TSMuxer is fine so long as you added the first file and then used the 'join' button to add the others in order, one at a time.

I'm assuming you played back the joined file at various points to make sure it all played back and was in sync before creating the torrent?

I'll shut up now and let Mark continue as he seems to be on the ball with this one.. :)

OK, making a new torrent from the folder WITHOUT joining the files.  Will that make one video file though? Or you guys will each have to join the four parts yourselves after downloading the torrent?

I did check the 'merges' for each of the four files to make sure they were smooth which they are.

that's right, just create a new torrent file pointing to the folder where you have all the untouched files, don't worry about that, we'll create a DVD from them, just follow the steps on the Traders Little Helper screencap and you should be alright ; )

Make the new torrent with the old folder, the one with 4 mts files in.

When somebody plays this back on their pc they just need to select all 4 files and their player will cue and play them all.

Make sure when making the new torrent that you select upload folder as your option and not upload file.
Arse.

don't forget to upload the torrent file here first, then download and open your own torrent file for a secure seeding!

So? New thread AGAIN?????  And just so you guys know, Brian's mic when he's talking and singing with the fans is very low for some reason.  As a matter of fact, most of the talking seems to have a lower audio level...Strange!
