The official theatrical poster is again very painful to see!
Who makes these and most of all who approves these?!?!

Agreed. It looks like a first attempt at using Photoshop.
The colours aren't corrected, the logo is horrid, the layout is terrible and there are obvious photoshop artifacts.
Is it me or did they rip off the queen logo from the "Queen Complete Works" book?

It looks like an asian-bootleg DVD cover.

LOL... sad but true
The Queen logo is from the Magic/Highlander period (check the single covers for Princes and WWTLF0)
It is a phenomenally bad poster. Someone has pointed out that the spotlight in the sky makes it look like War Of The Worlds.

The people are all scared because big Freddie is going to eat them!
I don't know if it's the angle or the expression, but the image doesn't even look much like Freddie to me
I don t think also that the crowd is from That Evening !
It seems much more recent picture! Also in the QUEEN gig in 86, the field was not sold out..

Have anyone had a glance on the original Budapest cover from the VHS? That one is actually worse.

Ok, worse, but only slightly.
I don't see the problem with it. It's a cinema poster to be put up in cinemas not a DVD cover. It's purpose is to attract attention from joe public, which I'm sure it will do.
So would goatse. I think we can hope for a poster that looks like it wasn't created using Photoshop 1996.
the great question, why only freddie on the poster???
Being himself a graphic designer, Freddie would hate all these crappy artworks and official posters.

HAHAHA!! Freddie would love that Idea I'm sure!
And the original 'Live Magic' poster is by no means worse.. very 80s, but not worse.
