Guys,

I had never heard of this guest appearence before:

http://whereseric.com/eric-clapton-tour/28/06/1992

On the other hand, it looks like "The Bitch Is Back" has not been performed during that concert:
http://www.eltonography.com/cgi-bin/show_concert.cgi?DATE=1992-06-21

Has it actually happened?

interesting, I have an Elton John cd single with a live version of "the show must go on", there's written that was recorded live at wembley london 1992 but it's different from the version of the Freddie Mercury Tribute.

I know Elton performed the song on his own tour that year, so it's probably from his own London date. I'm sure it's pretty easy to tell if Brian, Roger and John aren't on it?

Yes,

I'm sure that Brian isn't here on this recording, this guitar player has a different style and sound to Brian!

I posted but the quote system stuffed up my text.

BootLuca, the one you're thinking of might've been the version on Greatest Hits III. The one from the Royal Ballet whatever thing in 1997, probably more significant in that it was John Deacon's last show.

I have found on dime the concert of Elton in Wembley june 28th 92, I'm downloading it but maybe the date is wrong because there are no mention of Brian May or Eric Clapton...

No, bacause this cd single was released in 1993, 4 years before deacon's last show.

I passed this topic 'round in the GregsynthWizard Facebook page (they deal with Elton John bootlegs there) and got a response:
[QUOTENAME]Tony Marshall wrote: [/QUOTENAME] I went to the whole 3 shows in London that weekend and no Brian May
I have listened the recording labeled as wembley june 28th 1992 and there is no trace of Brian May!

and this version of the show must go on is different from the one on cd single (labeled as recorded live at wembley 92)

so this concert is wrongly labeled

Re-read my post again, bootLuca. The quoted response is right there, in that there is no truth to Brian guesting at any of Elton's 1992 Wembley shows.
