No, it'll just be the regular tracks, only all the synth parts have been removed and replaced by new, better, more modern synthesizers that won't sound dated for at least two years. Also, writing credits for all songs have been changed to "Brian May" to more justly reflect the creative process.

mr bad guy is a terrible album.

I didn't think the album was that bad at all. Mr Bad Guy and Man Made Paradise being two of my favourites.

I wouldn't want to see the album "re-imagined" like the Barcelona re-release though.

Would be nice to see some of the balance and EQ flaws addressed - a simple remaster would be ok in my eyes.

I hope they'll do a bonus disc with newly uncovered rarities featured in the upcoming Freddie documentary - The Great Pretender.

Would be a nice little package.

replace the synths with guitars and it would sound a lot better. Made in Heaven (Queen version) being an example.

maybe we can have the michael jackson tracks as bonus (allthough I know that these are owned by the jackson estate), that could be a nice addition!

i'd love to hear that guitar solo of "man made paradise" played by brian.
but apart from that...
can't stand cress's "drumming". any computer has more soul.
this album was ok in the 80s, nice to have in the 90's. covered with lots of dust in the 00's... and now... hum. let me think...

and he'll overdub John Deacon's bass parts
i bet they'll go for a more authentic feel than more synths...think they'll use real instruments...played by chimpanzees

Oh boy, will we finally hear the version of "God is Heavy" with extra sneezing, or the forgotten Queen demo of the same masterpiece with a cough harmony from Brian and Roger. The sheer thought of such gems is making me feel all funny inside...

It is not a cashcow at all. What a lot of people don't understand that is currently all the albums that haven't been re-released on the new label are technically out of print.

Because they have swaped record labels, their old label doesn't have the right to produce Queen music or anything else that was on that label, i.e. Freddie's solo album. This is why Universal have to release everything again because if they don't, they albums aren't available

But they don't release "original Barcelona" but "Barcelona 2012". "Barcelona 2012" isn't original Freddie Mercury album but "remix album".

Good observation. It's a remix, not the original album.
This kinda gets me thinking about what some people's expectations were for the Island 2011 remasters, actually expecting remixes. Now we get a remix (more than that, actually) and there's also controversy because it's not faithful to the original.
Was there a similar outrage when The Freddie Mercury album and the remixes came out?
