The 10th Anniversary release of WWRY soundtrack album is quite interesting. Even though disc 1 is just a remastering of the original Album, Disc 2 has some Queen+ tracks. A lot of the disc 2 tracks have had an official release already, but a lot of fans won't have gone out and bought the Australian, Spanish & German (version soundtracks). + I always wondered why they missed off "Bo Rhap" from the Party at the palace CD? (Only get 80 mins on a cd??)
But what I'm looking forward to is the Wetten Das recordings, (got them on boot already) but an official release is great, just hope the sound is better than we can rip ourselves.
Disc 2 Track listing:-
1. Another One Bites The Dust 2003 remix Queen + Annie Crummer (Annie played Killer Queen in Australian Production)
(Already on Australian soundtrack album + Single) (2003 remix?? is this a different version to the other original 2003 mix?)
2. Sólo Por Ti (No-One But You) (Short Version) Queen + Eva Maria Cortes (Eva Maria played Meat in the Spanish production) (in Spanish)
(Already on cd2 of Spanish Soundtrack album)
3. Sin Control (Headlong) The Spanish Cast (in Spanish)
(On Spanish Soundtrack Album)
4. Algo Loco Es El Amor (Crazy Little Thing Called Love) The Spanish Cast (in Spanish)
(on Spanish Soundtrack Album)
5. Killer Queen - The German Cast (in German)
(on German Soundtrack Album)
6. Play The Game - The German Cast (in German)
(on German Soundtrack Album)
7. Bohemian Rhapsody ('Party At The Palace' Live at Buckingham Palace, 2002) Queen + The London Cast
(New to CD)
8. Radio Ga Ga ["Wetten Das" German TV Live Performance, 2004] The German Cast (in English)
(New)
9. Somebody To Love ["Wetten Das" German TV Live Performance, 2004] The German Cast (in English)
(New)
10. We Will Rock You ["Wetten Das" German TV Live Performance, 2004] Queen + The German Cast (in English)
(New)
11. We Are The Champions ["Wetten Das" German TV Live Performance, 2004] Queen + The German Cast (in English)
(New)
I know a lot of fans don't like WWRY, but I'm counting this as something new!!

Yes, you are quite correct!!! my bad!!! you know, I have gone years, thinking Roger just played Brushes on this Track (& Kerry's version too) must have read the sleeve notes when I was tired. Well, that's cheered me up!!! I will count it as a Queen+ venture now, lol!!!

I really can't see how this is at all interesting to Queen-fans. As far as I'm concerned, this is on the level of "The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Plays Queen" or something like that.

Actually this DOES sound interesting !

The emphasis was on the tracks with involve Brian and Roger. I'd immediately be more enticed by Brian & Roger playing with orchestral backing than just orchestral backing playing Queen. Of course this isn't exactly the same thing

I wouldn't know what to piss on first - this piece of crap, or the 8 people who'll buy a copy.

Actually, call me old fashioned, but regarding digital downloads, I am one of those people, who don't regard invisible downloads as real. But what I should have said was, (as I did with the "Bo Rhap" Queen's Jubilee 2002 recording) New to CD. (a real life CD, that you can hold in your hand, put in your collection, take it out every once in a while & actually look at it, lol!!!)
