Hey there fellow Queenies. I have a question regarding the new Freddie book "The great pretender, a life in pictures".
Does this book contains the same photo's as in the FM solo collection book? On facebook some new pictures came up regarding the new book. And someone replied on it by saying that the book contains the same pictures. Does anyone of you have this new book already and is it true that the same photo's has been issued? I am thinking of buying it but i wanna make sure that it's not another replica of the FM solo collection book. I know there is an interview cd included but i wanna make sure. Thanks.
My copy is still on order as the release date was put back. Some people have this already?

I think its gonna be the same pics as in the Solo Collection, I'm not gonna buy it! I can make a photobook of Freddie by al my self, from 1970 till the end....
Freddie had more concerts than Wembley are Live Aid, or more photosessions in his last years, Only we seen the shootpicture of tatdool and slightly mad..Not the shoot they take for the Headlongcover...

I hope they're not putting the release date of the DVD/BD back as well. That's really taking the piss.
The DVD/BD is supposed to be released on Sept 24. Sounds like they just pushed back the book's release date to be the same as the DVD/BD release.
All I see is that the vinyl of Barcelona was pushed back 2 weeks and now the book has been pushed back a week.
I've been a fan for 26 years and so many releases have been pushed back in that time I expect it these days...
I've been a fan 38 years, I just lose count these days!
