What do you mean with bootleg footage of Radio Ga Ga ? You mean they didn't use the DoRo footage but the footage from the bootleg ? If yes, was it at least colour-corrected ?

Is it me or did some of that footage from newcastle 86 appear to be from youtube????
If so, why on earth didn't QPL or whoever, just ask the fans if they had off air recordings of the news reports...

A brilliant extra on the disc would be the full news clips, but this IS QPL we're talking about here: they don't cater for the fans that have paid their mortgages for 40 years, only potential new customers.

Sure looked like it! It was a low quality digital source at any rate.

I did enjoy the Dutch footage of John Deacon being interviewed by Adam Curry in the tv-show Countdown!

the doco was crap , that footage has been used so many times even i have it , ps did u notice the bottle getting thrown onto the stage when Freddie opened one vision at slane castle (they were all pissed) !!
the dutch interview of JD was really scraping the barrel.
At least the doco was loud , the actual concert was pathetically low , spoiled my night ! toatl waste of £20 (2 tickets and nacho's) which i could have spent on the DVD on nov the 5th !!!!

Pittrek they used some bootleg footage of the big screen at Knebworth, there were a few pieces of the DoRo footage, one of which I had not seen before. Some stuff was still a little hazy i.e. footage from Newcastle i know there are lots of compliants, butI was happy!

Yes there was different footage from doro a 1 camera position recording
Of knebworth and new footage of watc from manheim again the doro filmed filmed from the pa tower several camera postlitions.and quite grainy. New footage from slane same source as then news programm on youtube. The french rehearsal footage again more as on youtube. Qpl must have retrived the broadcast station tapes.

All is fragmentary but exciting !! Finally some new footage !

New castle was : a kind of magic very blocky footage feom tynie tees news report. There were 2 different news specials from new castle 1 with the red cross nurses and 1 with the intervies from the sound engineer.

This one was from the one when mercury is refered as a napoleon of rock.

I too noticed the difference in sound, wouldn't say it spoilt the night but it took a while for the ears to adjust.

The Hammer To Fall Live Aid opening really hit me hard and I was expecting something similar for One Vision at Budapest but it didn't happen.

Still glad I went to see it in the cinema, even if there were some clowns dressed up as Freddie.

By the way, Knebworth Park ...
Is it possible that for such a huge audience no one else in the crowd did not record a video of this show?
Maybe that someone does not want to reveal?

Documentary footage, nothing really new.

Soundmix of the actual concert was more "crisp" but the sound in the cinema was poor.

The concert footage, "nothing to write home about", was not much better than watching the video from all those years ago. Even down to the 4 "Intermissions" of Freddie, Brian, John & Roger.
Joyful the sound
