Studio picture - any more info?

Hi all, As you can see in the picture, the cameras were rolling.  Anyone have some more info on this? Looks to me like early 80's.

Brian May in the red jacket or Fred Mandel? Sessions for The Works perhaps?

It's Brian in the red. Based on the hairstyles, I'd date the pics 1981.

i woulda placed Freddie's look at either late recording of Flash Gordon or early Hot Space recording

Flash recording I gues. Who is the interviewer? This is not Bob Harris. I would say late 1980's

So then we can conclude that the Flash video was filmed during the sessions? Or was that already figured out?

Maybe Queen just use a studio to film it.

The man in yellow with the beard is Mike Hodges, the director of the movie and the Flash promo videos, filmed at Advision studios in London.

The guy in white, next to Brian is Reinhold Mack.

there is a camera recording this, is there on the flashh gordon dvd??

you're going to have to explain why the film maker would stick footage of the band recording the soundtrack onto the dvd?
