Apparently there are several different releases with varying quality, I'd just like clarification which (CD) has the best sound quality, thanks

People tend to say that the earlier EMI releases sounded very mudded, I never heard this mudded or muffled sound. However, when the Hollywood Record appeared in 1991 I was vey impressed by the improved sound. Also a good choice could be the Japanes Toshiba release. But to this event I still listen and enjoy my Hollywood Recors release! Who knows maybe we get an extended and remaster (triple version) by Universal, but I won't hold my breath for it, if I were you.

I have the Toshiba EMI release (2004 I think) and its great. Better than the earlier EMI

The japanese remaster from the last decade.
