I've tried e-mailing you. I've tried asking for it in his topics. I've seen plenty of other zoners ask for it in his topics...but zero response

CAN YOU FINALLY BAN THE SPAMMER THAT GOES BY THE NAME OF qz08927 , OR ARE YOU REALLY OF THE OPINION THAT HIS SPAMMING IS PERMISSIBLE ON THIS FORUM?!!!

If you refuse to do so, would you at least explain *why* you refuse to ban him?

While I completely agree that there's zero justification for keeping this dingleberry around,
'job' isn't really the right word. Since moderating QZ isn't a paying job, one is within their rights to look the other way on some things.

Having said that, I really dunno why something hasn't been done about this idiot.

Perhaps you should be contacting Richard Orchard as he sets the standard for what constitutes "spamming" on these forums. YV is merely a harassed volunteer moderator. Please hold your breath until you get a response from Richard. LOL

If they're bullshit posts/threads, then I'd say yes. It's the multiple threads that I find the most annoying. Hell, if it was one thread maybe it wouldn't be so noticeable.

With that criteria alone, no, HOWEVER qz08927 a/k/a MEDUSA spams the site on a regular basis with multiple topics (which don't even belong in the "Queen" subforums to start off with) obsessing over either Sacha Baren Cohen or Jeremy Kapone.

And I too have pm'd Barb about this troll.

If enough of us complain, hopefully yes. I seriously suspect that the spammer in question is mentally ill, and giving him a platform to indulge in his obsession is definitely not doing him a favour.

It might well be that QZ would rather employ the 'wait till he gets bored' approach, and fair enough - that's the mature thing to do I guess. Banning the sod might just encourage more new accounts, more bullshit.
