Although all these emotions are missing from Sacha's acting range, most of them have been seen in those he has interviewed in his "movies". I say movies because technically they were not "stills".

It is a shame that Sacha has never made a study of human beings and how they actually react, respond and behave, perhaps then he would have a broader acting range, more common to every one who professes to be an actor, whether they are comedic or dramatic.

It is threatened that Sacha will not only be singing Queens music, he will be imititating Freddie's stage performances and his private self at home and as a human being.
This is far more than any of the QUEEN+ ACCOLADES HAVE EVER DONE , AND SO THE POST IS BY NO MEANS STUPID BUT JUSTIFES A SERIOUS DISCUSSION ON THE MANS ABILITY. FAR MORE THAN THE NUMEROUS THREAD ON PAUL RODGERS ADAM LAMBERT KELLY ELLIS AND THE LIKE.

His singing range also merits a serious discussion.

It is important to accept the reality that;
Although the recent bbc kenny Everett "Freddie for a day" was silly, he could actually act in some respects, although he wasnt brilliant he did have some ability. That ability as basic as it was is far superior to Sacha Baron Cohens'.

Go away no one cares.

The brilliant thing about all this is that NOTHING you feel or think can be done about it. Nothing. If they want Sacha, they've got him. Personally I reckon he'll be just fine. The singing thing - it'd probably only be for scenes like rehersals (or similar). And of course there's always auto-tune. You talk of preserving Queens legacy - but after "5ive", the only way to go was up. This film will help people remember who Queen really were. And any homage to Freddie is a good thing. All this crap you go on about is quite fuuny, given as I said there's nothing you can do. Still, I guess it keeps you occupied.

Well, Queenfred, I think this is where you go wrong. It actually does matter what fans think and most newspaper articles on the movie stressed that the choice of SBC was met with a mixed reaction from the fans. You also say that "any homage to Freddie is a good thing", but why Roger and Brian are so careful in their dealings with the filmmakers then? A bad movie could do a lot of harm and I don't think it's something they want, considering their enduring popularity and iconic status.

I never mentioned fans - this is where you go wrong k-m... I said people. We Queen fans will debate his acting credibility and that's fine. But I stand by what I said - any homage to Freddie is a good thing and can only serve to further keep his legacy alive. Honestly, more fans are upset by what what Brian and Roger have gone on to do - but it doesn't stop them loving Queen for what they were.
