Hey all, check out this read on Brian May's handmade iconic "Red Special" or "The Old Lady" Guitar:

You may find this site interesting, it's a site from another luthier who did a very special replica of the old lady.
This one have LOTS of specifications.

I would discount everything on the Ed Roman site. It's all bollocks. The guitar he made is a copy of the Burns one....

Is there a recollection of all the studio and live appearances outside of Queen made by this guitar?
I know David Fuller vids on youtube do that, but is there a written cataloged research made?

Yeah, totally agree.

The guy's long gone but he did talk complete crap.

As well as, at the time, claiming to have built an improved Red Special he also claimed he built a better Model One guitar, basically a copy of the guitar Turner Guitars build for Lindsey Buckingham .
