Definitive Mannheim by Wardour

I havent heard of that version before. From what i know the best version is "Done Under Pressure in Germany" by Gypsy Eye, it sounds great.

ok, but "done under pressure in germany" was released in december 2000 and in the collectors music review there's written that this "definitive mannheim" is taken from a new broadcast (march 2008) from the radio in much upgraded sound... I would like to know if this is true...

I just read the review and i think it´s great that Radio can still broadcast an entire 2 hour concert of Queen. This is even better considering that it was never released officially, wich means that we can have 4 Magic shows in Excellent quallity (2 Wembley, Budapest and Mannheim).

It's definitely not the best, but it's close. It's the complete show, but worse than the Gypsy Eye bootleg as there's a lack of bass. It doesn't sound like it's the tape that leaked in 2008, as the EQ is pretty different.

Recording are from Mannheim, Germany '86. Just a part of the show.
Only for interest for 'mania' collectors. I have listen true the hole cd, and it IS the Mannheim concert whatever anyone else say's.
Roots: Originally from a radio broadcast. Heavily bootlegged on vinyl & CD's. Too much titles to mention.

Hmm, the Wardour bootleg is a bit better than the 2008 source, I'd say..

then the definitive version would be a new merge of "Done Under Pressure In Germany" by Gipsy Eye and "Definitive Mannheim" by Wardour ...
if this merge doesn't already exist, a new project could be to create it... :)

I thought the 2-source merge was made with "Done Under Pressure In Germany" by Gipsy Eye and the 1st gen copy of the 2008 FM broadcast
and not with the Gipsy Eye bootleg and the "Definitive Mannheim" by Wardour that sounds better in Bob's opinion

I always thought "Definitive Mannheim" IS the 2008 source. Is it a completely different tape? If yes, I'd love to hear it too
