I remember feeling a little disappointed when Brian explained that the song was inspired by groupies and the appeal of sexually enjoying women you'd never actually want to date due to their appearance or other perceived shortcomings. A lot of people still seem to think of it as a song about lush female bottoms, but that's not quite it. Good rock song though!
