Note at 34:10, Brian and John are on opposite sides of the stage. I recall there was a recent discussion here about this and someone (perhaps myself?) said John was never at stage left.

Zippy: "Oh I have, I showed him how to pluck with it." 
Bungle: "It's my plucking instrument." 
Geoffrey asks the audience if they can pluck like Bungle 
Zippy: "I can, I'm the best plucker here."

I haven't actually watched the VHS version in ages... The cuts aren't even slightly discreet, it's really jarring to watch.
