Was there a red jacket during the Magic Tour?

This is something that has plagued me for years.

We all know that there are at least three jackets Freddie used to wear during the Magic Tour: Plain White, White with Red Belts and Plain Yellow.

Now I seem to have this memory that I at some point saw a picture with him wearing a red or at least a jacket with a darker color than white or yellow.

Has anyone else ever seen what I am talking about or is this just something I imagined I saw around 10 years ago while browsing through the photos section here?

(My personal guess is that I saw a b&w photo with a colored jacket that looked DARKER than white or yellow)

Yeah there was a red one. Used either in the opening as seen in the little footage that exists from Frankfurt or like I assume more commonly for a few songs after the Guitar Solo.

Well that certainly is a red jacket. But we also have Freddie without the mic stand so it's certainly a slightly inaccurate portrayal of him. This isn't what "I remember that I saw" though.

No, he did wear a red biker jacket on the Hot Space tour though.

there is a picture of him wearing a red military style jacket when he got up to join elton john on stage, not sure when that was early 80's maybe 83?

White with some red. That's as close as it gets.

Hmmm, I'm starting to doubt myself now. I'm sure I have a picture somewhere or have at least seen a picture of a red jacket with white piping, and also a sort of royal blue jacket.

In terms of the Magic Tour style jacket I'm pretty sure its just the three you mentioned.

Madame Tussauds used to have him wearing a red jacket... pretty sure I've never actually seen this on Freddie....
