Hi!
My question may sound/look weird but I was just wondering the other day - I've heard Freddie,Roger and Brian swearing ,saying "fuck","fucking" etc. on many different occasions but I've never heard John saying any of those words.I'm sure he was swearing but is there any recording where you can hear him doing it?

Thanks

JD's vocal input was always limited in comparison to the others, there was often debate about whether his mike was even turned on, but his vocals can be heard in some live recordings. Cannot recall any instance of him cursing though, the only tantrum of note that comes to mind is when he threw his bass away at the end of the Knebworth show.
Arse.

Yeah,I know that his vocal microphone was always very low or even not turned on AT ALL.
I meant - interviews, sound checks, recording sessions etc. Recordings on which they are talking. For example you can hear Brian ,Roger and (of course) Freddie swearing on the One Vision sessions...

trying to work out why you might need to know this.
the rest of the band took at least one sh*t per day - would you need to know if Deacy also took a daily dump?

the trivial nature of some questions lately - sheesh!!!

Well,I'm trying to work out why did you start talking about them taking a dump? That's scary.

TheWorks84 - Exactly! It just came to my mind the other day.Nothing major,I was just wondering.

I think it's a reasonable enough question - John's a quiet person and the poster is asking a specific question about his mannerisms which other people here might know more about than him. God forbid!

He used to swear a lot during sex, when he was still alive.

He seemed to have an at least moderately dirty mind, so I don't see why not.

Also, trivial discussion is better than no discussion at all. At least he's not spamming.

At least we will always have the memory of John throwing his bass guitar just as Radio Gaga was ending at Knebworth 1986.

And then people wonder why there's hardly any discussion around here these days :P

you can put any "meritorial spin" on it that you care to, but fact is this:
go to any zep, purple, floyd or beatles forum and NOBODY asks
"does John-Paul/Roger/Ian/George swear?"

no wonder queen are not taken seriously.

How certain are you that no one on said forums asks questions like that? It could be interesting to search around and see what is talked about. Don't think that other bands don't bring up silly topics too. For example, on a forum for a certain band, I saw a thread asking this, essentially:

"I own all [band's] music, but I don't own all the merchandise that they put out. Does that mean I'm not a true fan?"

The worst part was that many people (though not all) were taking the question seriously, with discussion on what constitutes a "true fan."

Anyway, although I'll admit that I want people to respect Queen, I highly doubt that many people judge the band based on what people post in forums.
