There are three audience sources from this show, all of which have been used for the three bootlegs:
The original LP called "Queen's Last Stand 1985" used a somewhat distant although excellent and virtually complete audience source.
A second, superior audience source is primarily heard on the Masterport and Wardour bootlegs, entitled "The Last Concert In Japan" and "Last Concert In Japan" respectively. On this source there is a cut in Radio Ga Ga for a tape flip, and I Want To Break Free cuts out part way through. Both Masterport and Wardour used the "Last Stand" source to fill in the Radio Ga Ga gap and the rest of the show from that point in I Want To Break Free onward.
There is also a third, average-sounding audience source. Both Masterport and Wardour used it to fill in the gap in God Save The Queen, as the taper of the "Last Stand" audience source did a tape flip at that point.
Here's where it gets bizarre - on the Masterport bootleg the latter part of Radio Ga Ga and the first half of I Want To Break Free (from the superior source) are degraded in quality, while they are untouched on the Wardour bootleg - while the rest of the superior source is degraded in quality on the Wardour bootleg. So, this best possible version has been created by taking the best parts from each bootleg.

Thanks Bob,
Great finally what is ine of my fabourite 85 shows in it's ultimate quality!!
Love this show !
Though the bothering me : what could be a reason for the band not to play teo torriatte during the 85 japan tour? This was a hymne for the japanese audience and one would expect the band playing it : as a repect abd thank you for the japanese support from early 70's !

Thanks a lot!
I've always loved this concert, well, since the second time I listened to it.
At first I thought Freddie sounded weak but then I realised some of his vocals during this show are extraordinary , his intro to STL for example is absolutely beautiful.
Also, It's a hard life is surely one of the most heartfelt versions by Freddie the great:-)
Some killer playing from the rest of the boys too (I remember some fantastic guitar stuff too (HTL, CLTCL...). Maybe I should give this show another listen this weekend, it's been some time....:-)

Not downloading it, because I have my version for a long time, but thanks anyway for sharing.
Could you find the time to use all sources for the last Tokyo show and to do the "ultimate" version ? I'm just trying to replace the crappy mix on the official video, and I have no time to do something like that myself

Same here.
Most of the bootlegs are from radio broadcasts, and they're generally excellent. As long as they have the complete Liar and Dragon Attack, is there anything the video has that the radio broadcasts don't have?
Besides too much keyboards (before the jokes come flying :-)

Unfortunately, all of the existing video and audio sources are missing Brian's guitar solo and the Brighton Rock ending bit :-(
Thanks for this share, btw! Shall download it asap.

There is actually a torrent source of this concert, it is part of the Pittrek Best of the Best collection which I am still seeding. There's been a fair amount of traffic on the torrent recently. You don't have to download the entire 32GB either, each .flac is seperate in the torrent so you can use your torrent client to pick which concert(s) you want.
