I was catching up with Glee... Yes, I watch Glee. Shut up. :D ... They had a diva-themed episode a week or two ago where Darren Criss performed Don't Stop Me Now, complete with piano and Freddie-style leather outfit!

Some other Queen covers Glee has done:

Bohemian Rhapsody

Somebody To Love

IMO Don't Stop Me is the best cover they've done so far. Somebody To Love (with an honorable mention to the rock section of BoRhap) is the worst.
oh god, i respect you, but glee...
Uh, guilty pleasure and a bit of nostalgia for my teenage years when Fame was my favorite TV show...
I was catching up on some PVRd American Idol and there was a refreshingly reasonable cover of STL on guys' group night.
Why not just post a new thread titled 'I am Gay'?

Your parents are going to find out soon enough...

;-)
Despite the username, I've always has the sense that AdamMethos was female. So it's totally OK that she watches Glee. Not that there's anything wrong with that. :)

Apologies for my misperception if you're a guy AM :)
No he'll be a guy....Only a guy would know that Adam & Methos are the same person in Highlander.
Joyful the sound
What the hell's wrong with Glee?
I love it and I can tell you 100% that I ain't gay.
It's a heck of a guilty pleasure and I'm loving watching both that and Spartacus on a Sunday night at the moment.

Got to say though, that I didn't like them performing DSMN in last weeks episode that was all about Diva's.
If the yanks have this perception that Freddie was a Diva, especially what a Diva is perceived to be by todays standards, then god help us all.

It exists.
Never understood the prejudice with Glee. There are for sure lots of
worse TV shows. Some of the Glee cast are trully talented (not
everyone indeed) and they have made a bunch of great covers.
The story is based on teenage relationships, but I'm pretty sure
anyone could relate to one of the plots. And sometimes it is quite fun.

I'm not ashamed of saying I like Glee.
Ah, forgot about Fat Bottomed Girls. Thanks for adding it.

Yup, I am female. (Way to stereotype though...) Methos is my favorite Highlander character, and it was through Highlander that I became a fan of Queen. :D

I think the Glee prejudice is (at least in part) because they use autotune so much, even on the good singers who don't need autotune. I never got that either till I saw someone suggest that since Glee has to film on a TV schedule, and the cast has to learn musical numbers as well as "regular" acting, they might not have the time to get perfect takes with the singing. So they record fast and fix with autotune later.

They must be oozing talent then.

Glee is yet another vehicle which portrays 'talent' just because half decent looking young people sing/mime other people's songs arranged by someone else. It's the X Factor without the voting.

It's wank.

Hey, you and me both. LOL. The movies plummeted (coughAlienscough) the T.V show stayed excellent, and the band got better and better.

And I'm going to have to check out these covers when not on a cellphone. Glee is a guilty pleasure, but still seem to miss more episodes than I catch.

Cheers for the share.
Shooting stars never stop, even when they reach the top. [QUOTE][QUOTENAME]Serry...wrote:[/QUOTENAME]I was more curious about - which font Freddie used for his thoughts? Arial? Verdana? Or Wingdings'
