roger taylors hearing

I was reading today that roger is deaf on both his ears and is using hearing aid and is even lipreading.

Not that suprised, having been to queenconcerts. They were louder then any other:) but... How bad is it?

Probably bad enough to explain the various screwups he made on the Q+AL tour last year :P

It's pretty serious.  For example:

What the tattoo artist said: "Roger, I'd like to [url=http://twitter.com/SarinaPotgieter/status/288028425720061952/photo/1]completely cover your lower body with a hideously coloured bird and a bunch of freaky vegetation[/url].  OK?"

What Roger heard: "Roger, I'd like to completely hoover the lower lobby with a hilariously covered nerd and a bunch of cheeky veggie Haitians.  OK?"

What Roger thought Dave Grohl said: "You and Brian May are so musical. We Will Rock You makes the missus totally happy, like Deacon's glowing 'Best Friend' too. What a trip!"  

What he really said: "You and Brian's gay arsed musical We Will Rock You takes the biscuit, totally crappy, like a freakin' overflowing West End loo. Get a grip!"

What Roger heard Sarina say: "My, I think I'm a bold drunk. Will you carry me? Say yes and you can turn that lamp on and have a three way with a nurse."

What Sarina actually said: "Buy me a mink you old hunk. Will you marry me? Say yes and you can buy my tampons and be gay and hold my purse."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I was so suprised reading an interview wirh roger in a local glossy magazine. And very suprised reading about his hearing loss which hadnt passed by here on queenzone.

There is o need for a scan now is there? Or are there some collectors intereseted?

This explains his enthusiasm for Sacha Cohen's singing, which he seriously praised in a interview with absolute radio, which has now been suspiciously deleted from the radio stations Queen page.

I remember reading about his hearing problem almost a year ago now. And more recently, Brian's knee.

Is "The Unblinking Eye" indefinitely postponed afterall?
