Personally, I don't think the guy's got Freddie's mannerisms / accent / tone of voice right at all.

I think that is from The Best Possible Taste on BBC recently. Not very good film, but I actually thought that guy did a good job of getting the 'essence' of Freddie. His mannerisms and accent seem pretty accurate to me. I just did not like his hair! Sooo not Freddie.

I think Sacha Baron Cohen would have been an awful Freddie btw. Hollywood! Urgh

TBPT was crap. The guy as Kenny was awesome at being Kenny, however I think you're a bit off the mark if you thought the Freddie was good. IMO, his mannerisms, voice etc were shite, and a little research would've shown the makers that Freddie didn't look like that in the late 70s (and I don't think he smoked, either). Poetic license, maybe, but I didn't like it at all.
