I know there are a gazillion various influences in the Queen catalogue, but recently it struck me around the 3:20ish mark onward of the listed 'Aqualung' track......that the studio 'Brighton Rock' instrumental is almost a carbon-copy (with slightly different instrument(s))of the middle chants of 'My God'.

Anyone notice before? Other obscure 'influences' not noted before would be appreciated (please, no AOBTD or Elvis references....).

Considering the basic track existed in '70, there is no doubt that Mr. May was influenced by it.

Does My God from 1971 predate Smile's Blag from 1969?
