Hi! I've got a petition about Bohemian Rhapsody... nothing less.
It always took my attention when Freddie sings "I don't wanna die" and then "I sometimes wish I've never been born at all". It's obvious that there's a connection between the two sentenses, but they're just different phrases.
Then, when they become available, I heard the early versions of this song, and Freddie does sing: "I don't wanna die BUT I sometimes wish I've never been born at all". It has sense as a whole idea now.
The petition (of course) is, do you think it's possible to take that 'BUT' from the early versions and merge it into your revision? It would really be great.

Just another voice to add to those praising your work. I've just started to download your album mixes and am having a day sorting my music studio out and just listened to - and enjoyed!! - 'Hot Space' in its entirety! At least someone mixing and mastering that appreciates that John's sublime playing needs to be heard!!
Now moved onto AKOM - loving the improved snare on One Vision, and especially the revised little double snare double before the first verse. Can I make a request? There is a similar 'wooly' and unclear drum piece right at the end of the guitar solo in 'Breakthru' before the vocal chorus comes back in - it doesn't have a cymbal on the first beat but always sounds like it should have: they possibly removed it in error when cutting drum tracks together? If you can do anything with that I'll be very happy!!

Pablo, of course I can do it! I could do an alternative version when I revisit ANatO, since I'm pretty sure a lot of people will hate this particular change hahaha. I would do it right now, but I deleted all the multitracks I worked with in ANatO. Now I keep them just in case.
Cmsdrums, thank you very much for your comment! As I said to Ern2150, I always read this, but I hardly have time to sit and answer, so I'm sorry for this big delays. With QII I gave John a LOT of presence. Those terrific basslines sunken over there. Doble bass in SSoR and OB! I didn't know.
OV's snare needed more power. The intention was... to make like a whip, but it was a bit weak. And yes, that sunken doble snare after the extended intro always bothered me hahaha. I'm working (slowly but steady) with 'Jazz' and 'The Miracle' album, so I've already started with 'Breakthru'... a hard song to work with. I'll have this in mind, as it always bothered me too, lol. Thank you so very much!
Tomorrow I'll be uploading QII CD2.

I just got your mix of Night At The Opera, and I gotta say a salute isn't enough to express what an exceptional job you did there. I'm In Love With My Car sounded heavier than I thought, you can really hear the 12-string on '39 (I don't know if it's just me but it sounded like a 6-string being used on the official mixes i've heard) Prophet Song became even more grandiose. I could go on, but there's just a lot of compliments to fill this text box. Keep up the good work, Matt! I'll be looking forward to your future work.
