I just bought this on BluRay and was watching it today and I noticed that when Freddie strums the first chords of song and sings the first verse, it like cuts right to the middle part/fingersnap part of the song.....I'm assuming this is an edit. Anybody else noticed this?

yeah I noticed this straight away, they cut so much of it down. on the CD I want to break free has the whole synth intro and on the DVD it cuts most of it out.
I'm sure it has been said before here but the video is the original from the VHS remastered. It was originally cut to fit on a 90 minute VHS tape and the rest discarded. Only the full audio remains.
Yes, a lot of it is cut. What I'm pissed about the most is Another One Bites The Dust and the whole Freddie vocal improv section.
Well that sucks....Thanks for the info
I relaized of that the minute they said they would re-master the old vhs in hd.

They didn't remaster the old VHS. They did a new film scan in high resolution.
To be honest, I even thought they would release the complete concert when they had just announced it back then. I suddenly lost my hope. Really, it's always been clear that QP don't give a flying fuck about releasing concerts, hasn't it?? Their attitude is to release concerts the way they have been released before and not care much about subsequent consequences.
Read the supporting articLes etc and it's already been stated that however unfortunate. .. the original stock no longer survives. It was discarded by whatever production company produced it YEARS ago.
Therefore. .. it is notknown to exist.
ESPECIALLY considering the fact that the production utilized soo much of the nation's film cameras.
I've heard it said that a master copy exists like in thumbnail form for review and camera/angle selection
But that might just be a rumor. So I'll let the next queen fan of erudition take the helm

People shouldn't be complaining about the edit. It was done back in '86 and the unused footage is lost or destroyed. So blame the hungarians.
