Out of curiousity are they all HD captures? Alan Titchmarsh seems to be HD but This Morning looks more like SD although they both seem to have the itv HD logo.

As regards The Late Show, it appears the file is corrupt as it will not play on my PC in VLC either.

HI Kurgan: Yes, "This Morning" is an HD capture.
My Freesat box records directly to an external hard drive and I simply take off the ts file like you would any other file on a hard drive and then do a basic edit to top and tail it without re-encoding.

Sorry about the info re The Late Show. It IS an SD capture, not HD....

It could be corrupted due to the situation in which it was captured. I did a test re-encode which plays with no problem.
If people are OK with that as an alternative, I'll happy do a proper re-encode of the relevant segment and up it here.
