If they take that excessive compression off Roger's snare I'd be thrilled.

Someone from QPL probably saw this comment and decided to increase the compression.

Thanks for NOTHING.
I need to work on my reverse psychology.

That's the reason why I prefer the TV broadcast, even when it's edited and has much worse video quality

I'll second that.

Today's press release seems to intimate that it is a remix, and extra material on the DVD, so I'll keep an eye out for reviews first before buying.

Just the-read it - looks like nothing extra content-wise to the original 2004 release, and most likely NOT remixed again I fear. :-(

Come on guys, there is absolutely NO chance that it will include something what wasn't released on the 2004 release. They will probably only convert the PAL footage to NTSC a repackage it

Freddie himself stated back in 1990 the famous line "oh shit, all this crap again"....

Who knows... Maybe they've seen a statistic that says most current US dvd players are now able to play PAL discs as well, and are using this opportunity to sell the EXACT same version. :p

Is it? Or they just copy/paste from the original press release from 2004? The "we were on fire" quote it's on the original 2004 press release. The "we hadn't seen the footage for years" also.

But still they decided to copy/paste that, even if they've seen the footage dozens or hundreds of times since 2004.
