See, I've been trying to tell people this for years.

But man, seriously - it might help you to adjust your interpretation of negative criticism. The way I try to look at it these days is that if people don't like what I'm doing, the easiest thing for me to do is just try harder next time. If they're full of shit or just being nasty, then my next thing will still be alright. If they're right, then my work does need to improve, so I have to try harder to make that happen.

It might not be the best attitude to have, but it's a work in progress on my part.

You really need to get over yourself: like I say, the never-ending plethora of negative comments far, far outweigh the one positive (ie your own). That means your version is categorically, undeniably, cast-iron, set-in-stone, stonewall, outright, pure and utter, rancid shit.

On the flip side, the positives regarding Roger's version outweigh your one, single negative.

If you can't or won't do that, you are not cut out for art of any kind.
