Indeed, I could have but I had too much on the go earlier today so I thought it easier to ask you directly. Never hurts to ask anyways, since I've seen people elsewhere mistakenly using "MD" to describe Hi-MD disc recordings

i don't care if those files are lossless or not... as long as stuff like this appears to us "average joes'", it's fine. it's the information that's valuable. as long as it's listenable i don't care about the perfect quality. so keep posting, guys :-)

Indeed. It's just for audiophiles like myself, it's preferable to avoid lossy material, or anything that's had any sort of undesirable reduction work done on the source, as it's a bit painful metaphorically speaking to listen to in terms of quality :-)
I hope you can understand where I'm coming from.
