Nate has a great voice, I hope that their next album will be more rock.

He is pretty good, some elements of multitracking in there like we see from Queen. It's just a shame it's so heavily autotuned, like some of The Darkness stuff. Makes it sound less...genuine.
I don't know if he will be the next Freddie, but the band already has a John Deacon: http://youtu.be/Yw0fYyTuBak?t=4m19s
They have an instrumentation I'm going to experiment with once I find a few guys in college. Obviously being a huge Queen fan I intend to cover a few of my favorite Queen songs and favorite jazz songs to test our studio, what people around my college like more, and other things before moving on with my own/band's own music.
I've spent quite a bit of time thinking on it:
-Guitar (If I went the jazz route I may or may not keep this, probably would)
-Bass
-Drummer
-Piano
-Trumpet? (I'm not sure how I'd incorporate this into some rock/pop songs if I went that route)
-Vocals (I'd like my drummer or guitarist or whatever to be able to supply backing vocals on live songs, so Queen yeah yeah I know)
-Alto and Tenor Sax, if I went a jazz route
I am currently working on my Piano and vocal skills. At my first actual vocal lesson from an instructor/teacher, he was pretty impressed and was caught by surprise when I told him I had no prior singing experience or prior teaching. My range is about C2-C5, I say about because I've only hit C5 once, and Bb4 is just now becoming easy for me. I personally HATE the sound of my voice, but my instructor likes it.
I've thought quite a bit on the process of setting my group up in college, hopefully it all works out.

There can be only one.
A fair amount of content in the songs, which is great; it's one thing to dress up like you're from the 70's and try to ape the style, but to do it with actual songs is a lot more admirable.
Doesn't sound anything like Freddie though - and that's absolutely fine.

You're kidding...right?? No one or any band can even come close to Freddie and Queen!! Not back then, not now and not in the future. Queen is in a class of their own and no one can even be compared to them.
You're going to look back on that post and laugh when you're an adult.
Queen's my favourite band, but the world is full of great bands - plenty of which are comparable to Queen in any metric you choose.
