Yes,
Another waisted topic. But my question is whaqt track by which member gained the most commercial ($) succes.
I am not talking about chart positions or sales. But which release for each credited member gained the most $? So everything that brings money to the credited song writer counts, Airplay , commercial use, sales etc.etc.
Personally :
FM :
1 WATC
2 Boh Rhap
3 DSM/STL (FM didn't had that many successes in 1980+
JD :
1 DUST|
2 Break free (big hit)
3 Best friend (used a lot in various movies and commercials)
BM
1: ROCK YOU
2: ????
RT :
1: GAGA
QUEEN (as a credited band in the notes)
1 IWIA
2 INNUENDO
3 SHOW M GO ON ?
What do you think and why ?

You can add A kind Of Magic to Roger's list for sure. And I'm In Love With My Car - that was the b side to Bo Rhap 7" single, and he happily bought his first country mansion with the writer's royalties which he got 50/50 with Freddie!
I would add 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' for Freddie given it went Gold in the States.
The B side of the AOBTD single was Dragon Attack. That song would also be a commercial success for BM if they share 50/50.
Ref Queen
Under Pressure
Brian is tricky
Fat Bottomed Girls
Hammer to Fall

Until Freddie died Another One Bites the Dust was by far the biggest Queen hit ever. And the most boring?! That's the thing about Queen!

Really ? I Always thought WATC was THE biggest money maker for THE band before FM died.
Wwry has to be BM his biggest $$$$£££€€€ money maker! Before and after 1991.
Deacon earned his retirement in 1981 when aobtd escaped from the global charts.
I think THE bands biggest cashing songs are
1 WATC
2 Boh rhap
3 wwry
4 bites dust
5 gaga or magic
6 cltcl
Wonder of there are any records of hoe much money à song made over THE years...
