Wow. That's amazing. Is there any chance to get the BBC broadcast? On at least 4 DVDs? Also do you still need the audio broadcasts?

I have a question. What else counts as contribution apart from tapes / footage etc? Because I'm willing to help, but I'm afraid I can't provide tapes or new sources.

@Pittrek The tape with BBC broadcast is not digitized yet. Yesterday I just fast forwarded through the tape to see what's on in. I bought this tape through the Dutch website Marktplaats. Someone had an advertisement with tapes he also was willing to sell separate. And three tapes had a description that sounded like the thing I was looking for. I did not know the actual tv channels recorded. Actually I was expecting to find a broadcast from a Dutch channel. But most Dutch people are able to receive the BBC. I was very curious about what I had bought. ;) Please PM for the BBC broadcast.
Actually I am not sure if I need the audio broadcasts. I surely would love to have them available while working on the audio side of this project. But time will tell if I am going to use parts of them or not. I need to listen and compare to know that.
@Chief Mouse Actually I am not completely sure how you can contribute. I know you are very capable in tweaking digital video. But that's something I would like to do myself for this project. I just love things like avisynth scripting, editing etc. So on that side I don't think I will need any help. The audio side is also something I would like to do myself.
Although you don't have any extra footage yourself, maybe you can help me track down some extra footage. You know, I always keep browsing around for useful footage. In real life and online. Online mostly on sites for second handed goods. Although my scope is probably limited. I use international sites like Ebay and Dutch sites like Marktplaats, Speurders etc.. Maybe you can browse a bit around on similar sites in your country. I am looking for self recorded video tapes, audio tapes etc. containing the Tribute Concert and related footage. Also anything related to Freddie's passing could also be interesting.

i don't know if this is common in the scene or had been traded... but i would love to see some more rehearsal videos apart from the three official ones... well, there has to be some material...

I still have my recording of the original bbc broadcast on 2 vhs tapes if it helps

@princetom: I would also like to see more of that. I would love to see a rehearsal video of Innuendo. But without that video work will go on too.
@kevukuk: I would love to transfer that video for this project. Although I already have a complete video of the BBC broadcast, it might be an upgrade for some parts. Thanks a million.

Nice project!
I think the audio of the box "thank you freddie" ( http://www.discogs.com/Various-Thank-You-Freddie/release/4500956 ) is better than the BBC broadcast I have, but it's not complete...
if you want I upload an excerpts...

Luca, I like the sound of these excerpts. This can be very useful when I will be creating the audio mix.

I remember seeing some years ago someone sharing a pre-show footage of the concert. Mainly helicopter shots. I've downloaded it, but since then i've lost it. Does anyone know where to find it? I don't mind if it's only an youtube clip.

I have a VHS with polish broadcast version which my parents recorded in 1992. it is from the begining to Too much love will kill you. It has i want to break free, barcelona, these are the days of our lives, breakthru, the miracle... videos also with some scenes from the stadium (people looking at videos while preparing the stage for the next guests). It may be useful.
Greetings from Poland.
Very sorry for my english.

Unfortunately the VHS is in mono, becouse the video machine was only mono sound input. But sound quality is excellent if you add treble :)
