ANNOUNCE: CORRECTED Queen & Status Quo - 1985-07-13 - Live Aid FM Broadcast

My two favourite bands of the day - Status Quo and Queen. Thanks a lot to everybody involved in sharing and fixing this magical performance.

I thought Ultravox were on top form that day, too :)

The right channel was maximized using as parameter the left channel, that way you can have a perfect match between both channels. GoldWave decompresses FLAC using a temp WAV file to work with and once you're done, encodes it back to FLAC using the same compression level than the original FLAC file.

Thanks for the explanation. I can see how cassette could vary by 1% on speed, and having played both I think yours sounds more correct on pitch.
