paul rodgers, jeff scott soto, matt bellamy, justin hawkins, marc martel all are better and would be better than that prick lambert[/QUOTE]

But in the US it's Lambert that has the star power - probably more than all of them combined.

That said, Muse is pretty damn big now.

I would go, but these tickets are impossible to get! Reseller prices are ridiculous. All the commercials I've heard list Queen last, they are stealing all the buzz :)

Honestly I think that's overstating it. If by 'star power' we're talking about hooking large numbers of teenagers who know how to make that awful shriek sound that's briefly sampled in "C-Lebrity" (indeed, if you're really looking for that breed of A-class muppet to front your band) then I suppose Lambert's the guy for the job.

If that's what star power is, then fuck him, stars are shit.

And it sucks because the guy has chops, but that's where it begins and ends. Having the ability to do a good thing is rendered moot when you continually fuck about and refuse to serve the songs. It's frustrating to listen to because the guy really did impress me when he first drifted onto telly.

Great pop voice, not great rock voice. B & R using his fame to try to reach new audience and appear relevant, AL using B & R and Queen's position for credibility, good trade off for both parties.

Sheer Brass Neck, In all honesty, you really don't like his rock voice?

Lambert reminds me of the lead singer for No Vacancy in School of Rock.

Adam Lambert is great and i´m glad that he agreed to do thid show with the band. The kid is an extraordinary singer and very talented. THis will be the very much anticipated chance that Queen were expecting to have in America for over 30 years now. I expect great things in the future if they do well at this concert. Great news!

P.S. - If they can create a buzz with this concert, i think that an US tour with Adam Lambert can be in the works.

I don't even like the fact that they play Freddie singing We Will Rock You to advertise the iheart fesival in Vegas on the radio. That's misrepresentation. Why don't they play it with Lambert singing lead if that's who they're playing with? They wouldn't cause he stinks.
