^ I know he's dead Pitters - what I'm asking is why you think it's a stupid way to die....

A much bigger loss to society than that miserable maggot from Glee, but guess which one got more press.

I can imagine better ways to die. Especially for a comedian. To suddenly "drop dead" is a dumb way to die, and a VERY traumatising for the family and friends

I'm sorry Peter, but, tbh, I think your comments are a bit insensitive. Of course, there's no GOOD way to die, but what's "dumb" about just dropping dead? I've seen it happen to friends as well as family. How dumb of them!

This is again one of the cases when I find out that I can't express myself in english so that other people understand what I'm trying to say :-( No, my comment definitely wasn't meant to sound insensitive, and I DO belong to the people who found their family members like that.

Peter, I've always found your grasp of English and phrases to be of a high standard, so did not think this was a case of you not finding the right way to say it. However, I've jumped the gun a little, and realise that you've not set out to be insensitive. Sorry, Peter. Hope we're cool?
