Hammersmith '79 Japanese Broadcast HD

Hello everybody,

I'd like to post here a Japanese broadcast about two songs of the Hammersmith '79 show, originally shared by YourValentine...

I simply improved the video quality, with better contrast and better colour.

There are only two songs in archive with such great quality? No hope on QPL for a full concert of Hammer 79.

At 1:11, this fotage has improved quality (sound is perfect).

If in the Archives there's the entire concert in that qualiy.... it will be beautiful!

I have 2 concerns:
1) Audio is out of sync
2) Picture is stretched to 16:9 (not really a problem in a media player, but a lot of TVs can't stretch it back to 4:3)

Much better clarity of picture on Don't Stop Me Now. But very dark at the same time.

Oh yes, also in the DVD Hammersmith excerpt is 4:3, though Brian / Roger's interviews are 16:9

The complete concert is rumoured to exist in the band's archives, and the quality is said to be great.

You converted it to HD resolution. Why? It's stretched to 16:9. Why? You also zoomed it, I see, to fill the frame, thus cutting off the feet. And I think you made it bit too red. Not to mention the audio is out of sync. File size is really huge. It wasn't re-compressed the best way. You could have encoded with H.264 and made it way smaller with less compression artifacts.

In my opinion original is better. I re-uploaded it here if anyone wants [url=http://ce45j0.1fichier.com/en]http://ce45j0.1fichier.com/en[/url]/ You could have done basically the same thing just in SD and 4:3. Not sure why you upconverted this. Thanks for your effort though.
