I'd happily take a blowtorch to the MJ tracks.

Could be either the Chris Thomas (musician/singer) who appeared as backing vocalist for Queen at the Freddie Mercury Tribute & 46664 concerts, or the Chris Thomas (engineer/producer) that's worked with artists such as Pink Floyd.[/QUOTE]

Thnx Inu! God bless you for everything!

Don't listen to him. What usually comes out of his mouth is nonsense.

Indeed, that's the one. The same guy who was in Manfred Mann's Earth Band. Everyone's heard their cover of Springsteen's Blinded By The Light - that's Chris. A great set of pipes he has.

Not to mention, Brian also played on Chris' "A Shift In The Wind" (correct title?) back in the early '80s

I recall Chris Thompson doing a killer rendition of The Show Must Go On in one of the 46664 concerts, hitting all the high notes. I was impressed.
Great for a one off.
Wasn't he supposed to sing lead on AKOM at the FM Tribute but the song was dropped? I read that somewhere on the Internet so it MUST be true :).
